iGEN Computers will provide 30 days warranty support beginning on the original purchase date for Laptops and Desktops, with a few exceptions which will be specified on the product page. Laptop batteries, Apple products, tablets & all monitors have a limited warranty.

iGEN Computers will cover all costs related to parts and labor that are associated with the in-house repair of defective hardware. Accidental damage is not covered. This Warranty only applies to customers within Canada and the continental United States (No warranty available for Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico). Products may not be returned for credit or refunds. We highly recommend that you retain the box and packing materials the unit comes in should you need to ship the unit back for any warranty needs. Computers shipped to iGEN Computers with inadequate packaging are deemed potentially damaged and may restrict any and all future warranty support for that computer. iGEN Computers will not provide reimbursements for unauthorized third-party repairs.

Any parts or upgrades installed by the customer which were not included with the computer at the time of purchase must be removed prior to returning to iGEN Computers. If any such unauthorized third-party parts are returned with a computer for Warranty service iGEN Computers will not be responsible for replacing or repairing these parts if they are lost, damaged, or defective.

iGEN Computers is not responsible for any user data on any computer being returned for warranty service. In the event that user data is lost, iGEN Computers will not be liable in any way. It is the responsibility of the user to make regular backups of important data. iGEN Computers warranty will apply only to machines purchased for your use and cannot be transferred.

Please keep in mind iGEN Computers will not accept returns to our warehouse without approval. You will need to be issued an RIN # and a shipping label (which will be sent to you electronically) prior to sending the product back for refund or products that are under warranty for repairs.

In order to get an RIN # and returns shipping label, please contact a member of our Customer Care Team through the Customer Support section on the website. Any damages must be reported within 14 Days of receiving the unit or it may not be returned or refunded.


Requests for order cancellations must be received by iGEN Computers within 24 hours of placing your order (excluding Weekends and Holidays) for iGEN Computers to use best efforts to action the cancellation request.

Please keep in mind all cancellations are requests and are not guaranteed. If communicated outside of 24 hours, we may not be able to process the cancellation. In which case, the product will have to be treated as a return and a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Any refunds that iGEN Computers may issue against Credit Cards can take on average 5-7 business days to post however, may be subject to longer depending on your banking institution. Please follow up with your payment card issuer in the case of any concerns or understanding their timing.

Please note that we are unable to edit any orders once placed. If an error is made on your order, it will require a cancellation request.

iGEN Computers reserves the right to cancel orders for any reason, including but not limited to; out of stock, pricing errors and suspected fraudulent attempts. iGEN Computers will do our best to communicate any cancellations with you where deemed appropriate.
